Spain's De la Fuente Confirms Yamal, Munoz, and Pino Fit for Austria Clash

Spain's De la Fuente Confirms Yamal, Munoz, and Pino Fit for Austria Clash

Spain's head coach, Luis de la Fuente, has assured reporters that fans can anticipate noticeable improvements in his team's performance following a sluggish start to the World Cup. The squad has experienced a group-stage draw against Cape Verde and a narrow one-goal victory over Uruguay, with only a commanding 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia showcasing Spain at their dominant best.

"This week, I have observed that the team is starting to identify" the necessary adjustments to enhance their results thus far, commented De la Fuente.

Lamine Yamal's playing time has been carefully managed throughout the tournament, but the coach confirmed that he is now ready to contribute for as much of the match as needed.

The young Barcelona forward has been eased into the tournament after recovering from an April hamstring tear. Meanwhile, Yeremy Pino has bounced back from a left shoulder sprain, and Victor Munoz is also fit again after overcoming a muscle injury, though he hasn't seen competitive action for some time.

Despite the immense expectations placed on his squad by Spanish supporters, De la Fuente downplayed concerns regarding the pressure, particularly in light of the team's earlier World Cup exits following their 2010 triumph.

"I embrace the demand for excellence, as it reflects the high expectations of us. Our task is to rise to that challenge," stated De la Fuente.

During Wednesday morning's training session, Lamine Yamal was seen happily engaging in light-hearted banter with his teammates, contributing to a positive atmosphere on the pitch.

De la Fuente mentioned that he has already finalized his selection for the upcoming match but remained tight-lipped about the specific details.
